While I was in Colorado again, I made sure to stop by Rocky Mountain National Park again to see it in a different season. It always amazes me how different these parks can be depending on what time of year you stop by. Last time I was here, I bummed around the main roads on the side of the park closest to Estes Park, but this time I was driving back to Vail so I decided to take Old Fall River Road, a 9 mile one way stretch through the higher points of the park.
The views were absolutely phenomenal and the car handled the roads like a beast. I had multiple people approach me asking if I was worried about taking the Tesla this far up the mountain and I was glad to be able to sit and explain to them that electric cars don’t have the limits that most think they do. I was even able to give Autopilot some of it’s toughest challenges yet overcoming curves that amazed me. Check one of them out in the video above.
