I recently had the chance to go back to Rocky Mountain National Park, and was lucky enough to be able to meet up with Adam at Beaver Brook on the River in Estes Park, who has a Level 2 Destination Charger on site. There is a Supercharger in town at The Stanley Hotel, but if your in the area and looking for a place to stay where you can plug in over night, this property is an excellent option.
Located right down the road from the entrance to the National Park, staying at this resort feels almost like you are staying right inside the park. The mountains surround the property offering the perfect ambience for a morning walk. As the name suggests, a small river runs through the property. The sound of the water rushing over rocks creeps through the entire property, leading to a feeling of relaxation hard to beat. Elk bugle to their hearts content. Deer run through the fields. It’s absolutely beautiful.
Lucky for us, there are two destination chargers available for use if you are staying overnight. The owner is a fellow Tesla Driver, so he has had these installed, knowing how important a charger can be. The cabins are absolutely huge, offering full condo style accommodations. I’m telling you, you can’t go wrong.
