I happened to be on the East coast for the 4th of July and I decided that there would be no other appropriate place to spend it beside our nations capital. So early that morning, I pulled into town and headed to the National Mall.
The streets were filled with people, all smiling and excited to celebrate our nation. Over the past year I had been listening to biographies on tape about each of our presidents, so I was feeling abnormally patriotic, having recently reeducated myself with the knowledge of how amazing our country, and our history was.
As I already had been to, and written about, the National Mall, todays post is more about experiencing the joy of our fellow citizens through pictures, opposed to my regular talking about a location.
