Along I-5 in California, about halfway between Los Angeles and California lies Harris Ranch. With Superchargers right in the parking lot, this is a “must stop” for any Tesla driver on a road trip in the area. The ranch is one of the largest agribusinesses in the nation and is California’s largest cattle feeder, fed beef processor and beef marketer. The property includes a dynamite restaurant, with an unbeatable ribeye. There is a hotel on the property as well, which unfortunately I wasn’t able to stay at. Furthermore, Harris Farms’ horse division includes the 320–acre main farm located north of Coalinga, just east of the I-5, as well as the 200-acre part of the Harris River Ranch devoted to horses. The main farm boasts a full commercial facility, offering a wide range of services from breeding and foaling to breaking and training, for both Harris Farms and its many loyal clients. Nearly 200 foals are birthed each year at the Thoroughbred Horse Division.
