Tesla Model 3 Maiden Voyage – The California Redwoods and Mt. Shasta

This area was absolutely amazing. I find it hard to express the joy I felt while driving down the 101 being surrounded by these towering trees. Walking inside a treehouse that was made out of a (still living) 4000 year old being was almost spiritual. Being confused by the laws of gravity at “Confusion Hill” was whacky and driving up to an active volcano covered in snow was breathtaking. I can’t wait to go back.

Superchagers used: Eureka, Ca and Mt. Shasta, Ca.

Redwood State and National Park:

Most people know Redwood as home to the tallest trees on Earth. The parks also protect vast prairies, oak woodlands, wild river-ways, and nearly 40-miles of rugged coastline.  For thousands of years people have lived in this verdant landscape.

Soaring to 14,179 feet/4,322 meters high, this magnificent volcano scrapes the turquoise-blue sky, north of Redding, a totem from almost anywhere in the northern part of the state. And while some mountains climb gradually, this one rises from surrounding flatlands in such perfect, cone-shaped, snow-capped majesty that it seems almost unreal—the perfect projection of a child’s fantasy of what a mountain should be.
